With several years of experience in the military and stunts Johan is a disciplined and hardworking actor, but who always brings a sensitivity to his characters, constantly surprising his audience with interesting roles. Thanks to his studies in the Meisner Technique, Johan is also skilled at improvisation. A creative perfectionist at heart.
With studies both in acting and in film- and visual design Johan has produced, directed and acted in many projects, gaining experience both in front of- and behind the camera. During his teen years Johan was discovered by a stunt coordinator who trained and coached him throughout many years and later made him a core member of a swedish stunt team.
After completion of the mandatory military service Johan signed up as an employed soldier in the Swedish Armed Forces where he acquired wonderful traits, many whom he has taken with him into his acting. For example, being somewhere he’s never been, with people he’s never met, doing something that is almost impossible to do, that is no biggie. He is always prepared to improvise and adapt at any moment, exploring new ways of doing things, come what may.
Johan’s career started to catapult when he landed two supporting roles in Crazy Pictures second season of the web series ”Poetry for fishes”; in Vaskduellen (2015) and Like (2015), directed by Victor Danell. Last year he landed the part of Råsmark in the feature film Den blomstertid nu kommer (2018), also directed by Victor Danell, and as Adde in the TV-series Syrror (2016), directed by Lisa Farzaneh and Tord Danielsson.
Currently, Johan is in pre-production of an up-coming fantasy TV-series where he has one of the lead roles, and he’s starring as the lead in a short film set to be released early summer 2019. Johan himself concludes: “Together we are going to tell a story about something wonderful. With our combined strength and passion there is nothing we cannot do.”
